When the country has invaders, Nguyen Thanh, Tran Hieu Tu and Tran Hieu Nghia take leave of their families to set off to go to war. While Nguyen Thanh and Tran Hieu Nghia are fighting with fortitude, cutting off the head of rebel leader, helping Nguyet Thuy, the province chief's daughter, Tran Hieu Tu fears death, decamps and appropriates the fruit of his two friends' labour, to be become mandarin, gets married to Nguyet Thuy and betrays his faithful wife in the homeland.Knowing the truth, the province chief finds ways to hide to take advantage of Tran Hieu Tu, order his servants to harm Tran Hieu Tu's mother, first wife and two friends...
