He trained at the Ha noi University of Theatre and Cinema. After graduating, he has been working in the Vietnam National Cai luong Theatre for 15 years. He is well – known in a lot of roles such as : Truong Vien (A pair of gems), Bang Lan (The Princess Ngoc Suong), Minh (A thing can’t be lost), Thien (To return the name for him), Truong Chinh (A sharpened – gem man), Thanh (Moments in the lifetime), Trinh Giac Mat (A love story in Lo Da Giang), Ta Thanh (A bright Khue starlight), Trinh Sam (A violet tuberose), Le Bac (Ancent roof) ect…
He won many prizes include : the second prize in the Hanoi Young Singing Competition in 1991, the gold medal in the Nationwide Cai luong Fine Singing Conpetition in 1994, the silver medal in the Nationwide Professional Theatrical Festival in 1995, the third prize in the Nationwide Theatrical Young Talented Competition in 1998, the third prize prize in the Hanoi Fine Singing Competition in 1999, the silver medal in the Nationwide Professional Theatrical Festival in 2000, the gold medal in the Nationwide Professional Theatrical Festival in 2005…
He had attended a directing course in the the Ha noi University of Theatre and Cinema for 4 years (2001 – 2005). After finishing the course, he directed some cai luong plays such as : A requital love, Funeral smoke, Life – and – death cards…
